‘Let’s find some beautiful place to get lost’ I’m still in the spell of silent beauty of dark night of old Bukhara streets. There wasn’t anything amazing than to walk in the old city late night while discovering the history and observing the appealing antichretic in the streetlights. I never felt so comfortable and secure as was in Uzbekistan. It was wonderful experience to enjoy the busy and night life of Tashkent than to enjoy the peace and silence with Uzbekistan cuisine. The most surprising and welcome part of the cuisine was incredible salads, fresh tomatoes and cucumber salad that served almost every sitting and the whole grilled chicken, vegetable shish kebab, fries, bread and sparkling water was something beyond expectation.
The country's capital Tashkent is radiant as I took first stroll along its wide tree-lined boulevards it made first impression and I left with no choice but to praise everything. The other day visited different museums and buildings and came across many buildings escaped destruction and one elaborate building that was created for the Russians in the 1930s is now the Museum of Applied Arts. The carvings and tilework are simply stunning and mind-blowing. Next destination was Bukhara, the city of Bukhara in southern Uzbekistan was a major trading place on the Silk Road and every historic monument in the city is still a venue for merchants to sell their wares to passing travellers.
The Registan in the heart of the ancient city of Samarkand of the Temurid dynasty was another eye-catching experience. It is surrounded by three great madrassas dating back 600 years to the time of Temur the Great. However, what we see today has mainly been reconstructed from ruins in the past 30 years. However, unlike the trinket pushers in some countries, the Uzbek salespeople are generally not pushy. In fact they are very polite. Men and women sit quietly making handicrafts while we are encouraged to believe that they are snowed under with their handiwork.

Blessed with beaches, forests and all of nature’s bounty, Malaysia, in many ways, lives up to its reputation of being ‘truly Asia’. From the clash of history and modernity in glittering Kuala Lumpur to the rich cultural heritage of Penang and the pristine white beaches of Langkawi.
